Nobu Bar
Berkeley Street
Delicious, well made and interesting cocktails with lots of oriental ingredients in their selection such as lychee, lemongrass, sake, ginger. Good (and fast) bar staff who know their drinks. Trendy decor and a nice atmosphere in a spacious setting. It’s a busy place in the heart of Mayfair that never feels overcrowded due to the large bar area and good use of space. Great for group get togethers as it is so spacious with tables/seating areas in the middle of the room. Has an intimate / romantic feel with low lighting and general relaxed atmosphere.

Sketch
Conduit Street

Main Lecture Room – for dining
With a choice of 3 bars and a good selection of cocktails on offer Sketch is a cool place for drinks. The cocktails are made well and there is creative selection. Sketch is a great place to go if you are a large group since you have 3 bars to choose from.

The Parlour – which is a Tea Room by day and Coctails bar by night. This is the liveliest of the 3 bars, with a louder buzzing atmosphere and a DJ playing sets in the far corner.

The Glade Bar – a cosy living room style bar with wooden chairs , dimly lit with candles. Its a relaxed bar for chilled drinks.

Th East Bar – Hidden away past the main lecture (dinig room) it is an intimate space in a circle shape with the bar in the centre. The bar is low (at your knee level) so it is a little odd, but quirky at the same time.
Stick to drinks with this place, I do not recommend the food since it is overpriced and not worth what you pay. Food is mediocre, more concentration is put on the presentation than the taste itself. But I cannot fault the drinks and atmosphere, crowd and buzz of Sketch.

Eclipse Bar
Walton Street
Small bar but a lively and great crowd. Always busy. The barmen are charming and do tricks and make a very fun-loving atmosphere. There is a guy playing the bongos to sexy house music from the amazing DJ. Famous for their Watermelon Martini which is mouth wateringly good, made with a lot of watermelon the drink is so juicy and refreshing. – A must try. http://www.eclipse-ventures.com/

Long Bar – The Sandersons Hotel
Oxford Circus
The cocktails here are amazing, very strong and full of flavour, delicious and pleasant to drink. Also they have an interesting cocktails menu with variations of the classics that offer a more unique choice as opposed to the usual. Try the Bulldog Gin’s Aphrodite Cocktail – AMAZING! Cannot recommend enough, deliciously made cocktail that gives you a real kick, pleasant and satisfying to drink, fruity, delicious. The best cocktail I have every tasted (although they don’t always have it on the menu as the ingredients they use are rare to source – even more reason its a must try!)

Momo’s
Heddon Street
Momo’s cafe and the outside area is great place for drinks and shisha. Located in a mews just off Regent Street its a conveninent Mayfair spot in central. Cocktails are tasty. A very cool european crowd and a very social place – great with a group of 4 or more. Very relaxed, I love the middle eastern ambient music and the decadent cultural decor, that fills the place with character. The garden like outside seating with golden fences and exotic plants all comes together making the space feel very Marrakech like (well for London anyway)

Freud’s Bar
Shaftesbury Avenue

Some of the best cocktails in town with ans EXTENSIVE cocktails menu – that is ever changing. The bar is in the basement down a narrow ladder steps. The bar is reminiscent of a New York 1920′s speakeasie and has a hidden secretive feel. Truly delicious and well made cocktails that are perfection. The barista’s are cocktail experts and can recommend you any cocktail of your taste. An old fashioned setting but it is the atmosphere and crowd that make this place very urban and cool.

Jak’s Bar
South Kensington
A small, cosy bar on Beauchamp Place. Extensive cocktails list which has more than your average list and quite an unusual but intriguing selection of cocktails. The bar is quite small but it makes for quite an intimate setting, and is almost a cross between a relaxed pub and a bar. All round, a very chilled environment which feels quite homely, it feels a lot like a living room of a house with its loungey sofas and bookshelves in the seating area at the back.
